Ministry Needs Wish List
As is true for any organization, the dreams that we have for our ministry often exceed the resources we have available. While we budget for existing programs and projects, and do things like our Fall Fair for needs that arise, we always want to offer folks the opportunity to make a gift in memory of a loved one and meet the needs of a particular ministry area. Nursery and Children's Ministries
- Replace the existing gliders
The current furniture in the nursery is wearing out and in need of replacing. We need two gliders (without footstools) that can hold up to regular use. The cost for each of these these runs in the $150 - $200 range.
Worship and Music Ministries
- Purchase music in memory of a loved one
We are always looking for new music to be performed by our choir, and purchasing sheet music for that purpose is a great way to recognize your loved one. - Video projection system
We are currently developing plans for the installation of a permanent video projection system in our sanctuary. This will be a major remodeling project but has been suggested by several persons in the church as a way of enhancing our worship ministries. - Oil Candle Set for Advent Wreath
This set allows us to move to oil candles and cut down on the wax damage in sanctuary.
Facilities
- Air Conditioning for the Christian Life Center
Our ability to host programming in the Christian Life Center is directly related to the environment in that space. We are limited in what we can do in the summer due to the space being too warm. This is, as might be imagined, a major expense and will take a partnership of several folks to make this happen. - Stage Lighting System
We continue to utilize the stage a great deal in the CLC and the existing light trees are obtrusive and difficult to setup. We would like to install a small pipe/truss system for permanent mounting of stage lights in the CLC.
